I’m a chef by trade and for those people that don’t already know, it’s not a very -family friendly’ industry to be involved in, especially with the long hours. Luckily I had a wonderful and understanding boss who allowed me to take some time out from the job whenever Caitlin was brought to me. But how many other working mums are that lucky? Also, I was only able to work certain hours when my mother or another family member was able to watch Caitlin. I was desperate to avoid putting my child into daycare if at all possible. I hated going back to work as I felt that now my priorities had changed. My most important job is to be a mum and always be there for my baby.
